Living Principles

I am not a happy camper! We put a poor candidate in a place to advance and defend principles which are obviously unclear to him, the party and the people.

The GOP has once again disappointed voters. They just don't get it, if you are going to be known as the party of change, of principles, of reform, you better know what you believe as a party and stand together in it . . . period.

Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things. Peter Drucker

If the quote by Drucker is a valid principle, and if anything is, this one is, then leaders absolutely have to know how to determine what the right things are.

Living and voting principles is not something you just do, it is a place people come to in their lives. When people passionately believe in a set of principles, decisions are guided by those principles, when they have a set of values that others connect to, they have to communicate them. When they have a plan to implement change based upon their values and principles, they have to collaborate with peers and constituents to bring about change.

I want to use this blog to express myself, expound upon conservative principles and somehow, just maybe, excite someones heart relative to principled leadership.

Just my rant.
